”From my earliest memories, a love for fabrics and high quality clothing was ignited within me. Those cherished summers spent with my gifted grandparents, formed the foundation of my journey. With my grandfather, a celebrated opera singer, as my guide, I found myself in awe of the performances at The Theater of Opera and Ballet. Amidst the enchanting melodies, it was the captivating costumes that sparked my imagination. These vivid scenes became the spark that would eventually illuminate my path.”

My grandfather's global tours brought back treasures for my grandmother and mother – fabrics that whispered tales of distant lands. This era was marked by ateliers crafting custom pieces, as ready-to-wear garments were a rarity. Akin to the great cinema stars of Italy and France, women designed and tailored their attire, weaving elegance into every stitch. I witnessed the artistic flair of the women in my family as they shaped outfits into canvases of self-expression. My mother, a dynamic artist excelling in singing, composing, and conducting of choir, even earned the moniker of trendsetter from professors at the Conservatory. She ignited a wellspring of boundless creativity within me. Fueling my obsession, I compiled albums filled with images, sketching designs that would one day take form.

This love for fashion, ingrained through generations, bloomed into a lifelong devotion. The operatic pursuits of my grandfather, the elegance of my grandmother, and the talented artistic spirit of my mother fused into a singular passion within me. Guided by the threads of my heritage, I embarked on a journey that led to the birth of MIRIYA LOVE in 2021. With MIRIYA LOVE, I seek to share the magic of theater, the grace of lineage, and the allure of style that transcends time.
